The Equal Ground Movement exists to inspire change, foster understanding, and create a world where everyone stands as equals. These spaces are built on mutual respect, empathy, and truth. Every comment, post, and conversation should reflect the values we wish to see in the world we are trying to build.
✅ Open, thoughtful discussion — We encourage dialogue that challenges ideas, broadens understanding, and invites collective growth.
✅ Diverse perspectives — We value a wide range of voices and experiences. Disagreement is acceptable—disrespect is not.
✅ Kindness and curiosity — Approach others with empathy. If you wouldn’t say it face-to-face, it doesn’t belong here.
✅ Constructive contribution — Share ideas, stories, and solutions that support equality, healing, and awareness.
🚫 Harassment, hate, or discrimination — Any comment or message that targets others based on gender, race, sexuality, ability, or belief will be removed. Violence—verbal, emotional, or symbolic—has no place here.
🚫 Sexism, racism, or bigotry in any form — The Movement is built on dismantling systemic inequality. Attempts to defend, justify, or downplay oppression will not be entertained.
🚫 Personal attacks or bullying — Critique ideas, not individuals. We do not permit name-calling, humiliation, or antagonistic behaviour toward others in these spaces.
🚫 Dismissal of lived experience — When someone shares their truth, it deserves to be heard—not debated or invalidated. Listening is an act of respect.
🚫 Trolling, spam, or deliberate provocation — Any content intended to disrupt, provoke, or derail meaningful dialogue will be removed immediately.
Our moderators uphold these values with fairness and transparency. Comments may be removed without warning if they violate these principles. Repeated breaches may result in blocking or removal from our accounts.
We do not engage in arguments designed to provoke harm or hostility. Energy will always be directed toward education, empathy, and positive action—not conflict.
Everyone who joins this community contributes to the atmosphere we create together. Respect is not optional—it is the ground we stand on.
When we honour one another, we build a movement rooted not in anger, but in understanding.
Together, we can create the change that respect demands.
